Nicole and Laurence’s Wedding
28 January 2016 // By Kat Atkins
After years of laughter on Hamilton Island, continued with sharing a house on the Gold Coast… followed by work colleagues, training partners… numerous Sunday BBQ’s, Christmas’s and every other public holiday.
My dearest friends Nicole and Laurence tied the knot and shared their special day with us.
The ceremony was at Hidden Grove, Noosa – the ideal location for such a close and intimate wedding.
I was honored to be asked to script their feature boards, create the bridesmaid’s custom made bracelets and piece together the sentimental ornaments for the brides bouquet.

Nicole has listed what each pendant represents:
“Something Old – The angel was from my Nana who is no longer with us
Something New – The heart represents our marriage and new life together
Something Borrowed – The pearls represent the pearl bracelet that Fiona (one of my Bridesmaids) lent me for the day
Something Blue – My dad gave me this blue bird when I was about 8″

I took Nicole to one of my favourite suppliers and she selected the beads to feature in the bridesmaids bracelets. Nicole even helped string the beads and I completed them with the signature One Leaf durable finish, ensuring each bracelet was the perfect fit for each individual wrist.
